An afternoon of strumming, picking, and grinning.

Join New York Times best-selling author David L. Robbins in a social and informal jam session where acoustic guitars are front and center. Every player is welcome: from the beginner to the super pro - and everyone in between. Bring your guitar and enjoy an afternoon of trading licks and tricks with friends new and old. This is a chance to get inspired and learn about the magic of acoustic guitars and the people who play them.

David L. Robbins has written 17 novels, four professionally-produced plays, and, in 2018, was named one of two most influential literary artists in the Commonwealth of Virginia for the past 50 years by the Virginia Commission for the Arts. Robbins lives and writes in his hometown of Richmond, VA, and teaches advanced creative writing at Virginia Commonwealth University. David is the founder of the James River Writers, a non-profit organization in his hometown of Richmond that helps aspiring writers and students work and learn together as a writing community. He also co-founded The Podium Foundation, a non-profit which brings writing and critical reasoning programs to youth in the greater Richmond metropolitan area. In 2015, he founded The Mighty Pen Project, a writing program for Virginia’s military veterans.

A full bar with non-alcoholic options is available.

With only 85 seats, shows at Révéler are intimate and immersive. A romantic venue with exquisite sound and dreamy vibes, Révéler offers a unique selection of cocktails, wines, beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our kitchen delivers small plates crafted with care.
