THE VULGAR BULGARS have been bringing their irreverent take on traditional Klezmer music to the wilderness of central Virginia since 2003. With creative arrangements and wild energy, they add an exciting new sound to the genre. Over the past twenty years, the Vulgar Bulgars have performed in countless venues, from Key West to Canada, playing at festivals and farmer’s markets, weddings, cabarets, and street corners. The quartet includes: Kassia Arbabi(fiddle), Ezra Freeman (bass), Ben Grondahl (clarinet), CJ Alicea (drums).

MY SON THE DOCTOR have been bringing the music of Eastern Europe to Central Virginia since 2006. The ensemble plays an eclectic, infectiously danceable blend of klezmer dance tunes, Yiddish folk and theater songs, Romani songs, traditional and contemporary songs from the Balkans, Romania, and the Czech Republic. The quintet includes Louis Schwartz (lead vocals and acoustic guitar), Allen Cole (clarinet), Ben Grondahl (clarinet), Steve Young (guitar), Bryan Martin (bass), and Dave Ellis (percussion).

With only 100 seats, shows at Révéler are intimate and immersive. A romantic venue with exquisite sound and dreamy vibes, Révéler offers a unique selection of cocktails, wines, beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our kitchen delivers small plates crafted with care.
