An exquisite string ensemble performs unique arrangements of pop classics featuring the powerhouse vocals of Laura Ann Singh.

Vocalist Laura Ann Singh (Miramar, Quatro na Bossa) brings her rich and expressive voice to Reveler for a solo show with string arrangements of some of her favorite songs. Joined by Rosette (Ellen Riccio, Treesa Gold, Stephanie Barrett and Kimberly Ryan), Ayça Kartari (bass) and Marlysse Simmons (piano), this new project celebrates great songs and making meaning through beauty and community. They will perform arrangements of music by Joni Mitchell, Florence Welch, Laetitia Sadier, Carol King, Joyce Moreno, Sandy Denny, Ivone Lara, Sylvia Rexach, Judee Sill and more for voice and strings. Arrangements by Marlysse Simmons, Trey Pollard, Curt Sydnor, Taylor Barnett, Mark Messing, and Max Moston.

Laura Ann Singh is a multilingual American singer, recording artist and composer, often associated with musica popular brasileira and Latin boleros. She has performed internationally in Europe, Russia, and South America, and with Miramar has been featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk and headlined globalFEST in New York City. In 2024, she performed at the Kennedy Center with cellist Tomeka Reid and with Miramar performed with the Richmond Symphony. She has recorded and released music with Daptone Records, Barbès Records, and Ansonia Records as well as dozens of independent artists. Her repertoire pulls from all over Latin America, especially Brazil, but includes American Songbook standards, women composers, and original music.

Rosette is a Richmond-based string quartet comprised of four women who love to make meaningful connections through music. From a bring-your-own-beer house show featuring Bartók’s Third String quartet, to a Woman Crush Wednesday program at an art gallery, to a collaboration with the Indian classical vocalist Saili Oak, Rosette has been creating unique concert experiences since 2015. In the fall of 2021, the group launched So Hot Right Now, an innovative concert series which brings the music of living composers to Richmonders in a variety of settings.

With only 100 seats, shows at Révéler are intimate and immersive. A romantic venue with exquisite sound and dreamy vibes, Révéler offers a unique selection of cocktails, wines, beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic beverages.
