Eva Rose King is a Colorado folk artist using rich vocals and acoustic tones to dig deep into memory and vulnerability. Eva’s new album, After Tale (produced by Courtney Hartman; released 7 February 2025), carefully examines the feeling of loneliness, with the songs representing words said too late. This album evokes the styles of Gillian Welch, Leonard Cohen, and Norah Jones. Eva released On the Other Side, her debut album, in 2021 and Complex Feelings, a folk-jazz-pop EP, in 2023. Eva recently went on tour in the midwest U.S. opening for cellist and singer-songwriter Ben Sollee. She has also warmed the stage for Willie Watson, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Sunny War, and was a finalist in the 2024 Telluride Bluegrass Festival's Troubadour Competition.
